How ella Works

ella is an AI translation engine designed specifically for the entertainment industry, jointly developed by Rozetta Corp., a company with extensive experience in building translation engines, and DIGITAL HEARTS, a leading company in game localization. What we mean by “entertainment industry” focused is that ella has succeeded in expressing character personality which traditional machine translation has been unable to achieve. Translations by ella are generated with consideration for a character’s personality, tone, and relationships with other characters. All translations produced by ella are post-edited by our in-house translators, giving you the speed of AI with the quality of human translation.

QUALITY
ella generates five translation options for each sentence in the source text. A human translator selects the most suitable one, refines it, and delivers the final result. This approach is known as the "Centaur Model."
Combining character-generative AI and translation AI makes it possible to match a character's tone and speech style to their personality.

While human translators may occasionally make spelling errors, they are effectively eliminated by AI. Though minor errors may still occur during final editing, the overall error count tends to decrease, reducing the workload during LQA.

Broader Vocabulary

Even within the same language, the most appropriate translation varies by region, era, and speaker attributes. For example, when translating a medieval knight, ella can provide era-appropriate wording in British English, helping extend the range of expression beyond the translator's own vocabulary.
